Ludovic Roux received his PhD at Paul Sabatier University, Toulouse, France. He did a two-year post-doctorate in EORC (Earth Observation Research Center), Tokyo, Japan, a research center of JAXA (Japanese space agency). The topic of his work during thesis and post-doc was study of possibility theory, evidence theory, fuzzy logic and data fusion with an application to satellite image classification (LANDSAT, SPOT, POLDER). Then he worked for 6 years at Thales Communications, Massy, France, on a GSM-UMTS network supervision project before joining IPAL laboratory in Singapore in 2009.
